What is ROAS (Return on Ad Spend)?
Revenue generated divided by ad spend. A 5x ROAS means five dollars of revenue for every dollar spent on ads.

Why does ROAS (Return on Ad Spend) matter for contractors?
ROAS is useful only when the revenue figure is real booked work rather than quoted pipeline. For contractors the more honest companion metric is cost per booked job, because it survives a month where several large quotes never close.
